#Tree_House, the friendly EFNET channel

#Tree_House was started on January
5th, 1997, as a friendly channel for all ages, and it
grew quickly.
The channel now has close to 100 regulars,
ages 17 and up, that climb into the #Tree_House when they feel the urge
to communicate with the rest of the world.
Don't worry, it's not an overcrowded channel. Not all of the
regulars are in the channel at the same time.
If you visit us you will see that there are only a few OPs at any given time.
We found this to be the best protection to secure a friendly channel for people
to chat in and have fun. This also helps new people to the channel feel at home
when they join and realize that they are not the only non-OPs on the channel. It has
proved to be a very successful idea.
