When Marko Ahtisaari was talking about Blyk at DLD many people in the audience listened carefully. What Blyk is trying to pull off is offering mobile phone service to teens for free. If Blyk succeeds, it will become a major disruption in the telco industry. Today, the Guardian runs a nice piece revealing some more detail about Blyk's plans: Teens to get free mobile calls - with a catch. Blyk also announced a first round of advertisers that will be backing the new service at launch, among them Buena Vista, Coca-Cola and L’Oreal Paris, just to name a few. Congrats to Marko, sounds like Blyk is making many right moves.
