From June 2006 until now Movable Type's junk scoring and filter mechansim has prevented more than 55,000 junk comments (!) from getting published in this weblog. That's not counting the hunderds of comments that got flagged for moderation - most of them being spam comments as well. MT 3.3 even comes with an "empty junk folder" button which should kill all junk comments at once. Unfortunately, that button doesn't do anything when I click it. Other than that MT's junk framework works just fine.
BTW, in case you haven't noticed, Movable Type is now free for non-commercial use, no matter how many blogs or how many users your have.
Update: Now that I manually cleared my junk comments of all the previous spam collected before I updated to MT 3.3, the "empty junk folder" button works as expected.
