Etsy in the house

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Rob and Matt from etsy.com, a very promsing start-up exploring the DIY market as well as the social shopping space. They are planning some exciting improvements to their service to get ready for the busy holiday season ahead of them. They are building the company from scratch and want to stay away from VC money for as long as possible. The Etsy team currently exists of seven employees who all work remotely as there isn't even a "real" company office. I am looking forward to seeing them grow their business and succeed.
