VNU buys The Inquirer

VNU is pushing further into online publishing with its acquisition of The Inquirer, a leading technology news sites. The deal makes VNU Network the largest online technology network in the UK. VNU is also publishing local European versions of Gawker Media's Gizmodo gadget weblog, among others. Dominique Busso, CEO of VNU Net, attended DLD06 in Munich earlier this week (see here).
