Google to buy Opera?

Rumors about a "Google browser" are as old as rumors about a "Google operating system". Somehow I even think that these new rumors about Google acquiring Opera Software ASA aren't actually news but have surfaced before (About a year ago? Two years? I don't remember.) This time the sources are pretty reputable so it does seem there is something going on in Norway. Or maybe it's Yahoo!'s m&a squad dressed up in Google sweaters?
