Hey, if you took the freeway from San Jose to Gilroy, then you were on a freeway my father helped build (he was an engineer for CalTrans). That was over 30 years ago, though. Gilroy probably looks different today.
Wow, that's interesting. But Gilroy is still the Garlic Capital of the World :-)
I was at the garlic festival in Gilroy two weeks ago. Awesome! Gilroy is really the Garlic Capital in the world. I still have the odour of garlic in my mind, only when I think about Gilroy!
