Ask not what your country can do for you

Ask what you can do for your country. Now if you happen to be a Brasilian living in London, that might be a tough question to answer. Is it OK to get your brains blown out in your fight for civil liberties? Maybe not. Would you sacrifice life for more individual freedom enjoyed by those who survived? Maybe not.
Would you run away if plain-clothed police officers pulled guns on you? Maybe.

That's not what life used to be in a "Rechtsstaat". That's all I'd like to say.
Although I don't agree with the "shot first, ask later" kind of attitude - unfortunately, it happens a lot in Portugal, against the african people-, the latest news is that the guy was illegal and ran away, scared, from the police.
If you were a police, looking for terrorists, and you'd saw a guy running away from you, with a backpack and with non-white aspect, what would you do ?
It's a crazy world, indeed.
