What is a moblog?

Jans Technik-Blog: Was ist ein Moblog? - maybe the longest article ever posted in the German blogosphere. Which brings to mind a quote from Usenet netiquette: keep it short. "Hey, but this isn't Usenet", I hear you say, and you are right.
So what IS a moblog? This is my moblog. What else is there to say?

Honestly, I ask you: who really cares? "Moblog" and "Tiger" are two things I could not care less about at the moment. I had to hear and read these words just too often recently.
"flickr" is another one, btw.
If you can't hear the word "moblog" any more that should be a very good reason to read my article until the end. (I hope you understand German, because there is no translation yet available.)
My final conclusion is that we don't need the term "moblog" any more. Not because we use it too much, but because mobile communication is usual today and I think we should no longer seperate mobile from none-mobile blogs.
Hey Namensvetter ,
ja, ich spreche (und lese) deutsch. Und: wenn das so ist, kann ich da nur zustimmen. Ich habe mir die URL gefurled und werde mal die Zeit suchen, Deinen Beitrag zu lesen.
