Always outnumbered, never outgunned

The first time I actually saw The Prodigy perform live was at Mayday "The Religion" at Westfalenhalle Dortmund in 1993. I had been hooked since the '92 release of their Experience album. Over the years though The Prodigy became maintstream, and I grew a beart.
I just brought home their latest release, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, and, damn, it's noisy. And good! Is it groundbreaking? Nope, that would be expecting a little too much. But it kicks serious ass! Take that, O-Zone.
Forward ever, backward never? Raving like it's 1992!

I just downloaded "Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned" and I'd have to say that it is a lot better than their follow-up to "fat of the land".
Fast crunchy guitar chords, big fat drums rooted in hip hop, and vocal loops that are both annoying and addicting. If you've read any of the articles on this album, you know that Liam produced most of it on his laptop with most of the production done using propellerheads reason(except for guitars as we know you can't route live guitars in propellerheads reason).
I like the album a lot, but it isn't anything new or groundbreaking. would i buy it? definately.
spitfire is my favorite head nodding anthem track on the whole album. it sounds like zack de la rocha on vocals reminiscent of rage against the machine , but it could be a girl singing.
I'm glad to hear a good review of it! The music press is slagging on it pretty hardcore. I'm in the USA, so we can't buy it until tomorrow... I can't wait!
