Amplify spam

I got an email from Karin J. Ponce, Account Coordinator at Connors Communications. At Connors, the team is hard-wired into the pulse of the information age. So they got creative and use the latest craze in direct marketing called "bulk email" in order to get me interested in a new service & application they promote, Amplify.
Quoting from Karin's email:
Thanks and I look forward to hearing your comments about Amplify soon.Sure. Who are you? Who gave you my email address? If you want to promote something cool, get a weblog. Thank you.
Update: Second thoughts. I searched my spam folder for the first email Karin sent me.
Amplify is the next phase of Internet technology. It would be great if you could share this news with your readers.Uhm, so maybe this is sent specifically to Heiko, the guy who writes a weblog? And she explicitly asks me to download their application? Did she read Weblog Marketing 101? I am still puzzled.

Weblogging 202 calling Heiko: she got what she wanted... (Hint: your links...)
