Hail Queen Mary

Queen Mary 2, the world's largest cruise ship, will visit Hamburg this Monday, 19. July. The mighty ship is expected to pass Wittenbergen at 7 AM and arrival at the terminal is scheduled for 7:45 AM. Some 30,000 spectators are expected around the harbor. The Queen will only stay for one night and leave 24 hours later en route to Southhampton.

Update [19 July 2004]: the pictures are online.

Comments to this weblog entry:

today is wednesday

In the first visit to Gran Canaria, 200,000 people went to greet its departure. I went to the second visit, and composed a photo album.

Montag, 14. Juli??? Also entweder das Schiff war schon da oder es kommt erst am 19. Juli :-)

Oops. Thanks. Corrected. It's Monday, 19. July

sorry, die Hamburger Polizei geht derzeit von mindestens 300.000 Schaulustigen aus. Da ist wohl eine NULL unter den Tisch gefallen.
