The power of an image

Madrid, earlier today, texting: I am alive.

And why does this make me think of Tuscani's Toscani's Bennetton campaigns? Horror.

Comments to this weblog entry:

(Klugscheiß-Modus an:) Toscani. Olivier Toscani. (Klugscheiß-Modus aus:) Mich auch, wenn ich ehrlich bin.

.. only thing i was wondering .. what the hell should be the point for the basques to help mr. aznar to win the next election
(btw: rumors say .. no basques responsible .. and i may better not know who is responsible for that)

today in the "ubahn express", a free austrian low-quality newspaper; the text for the same picture:
"young, blood-covered male sitting against a wall using his mobile phone"

and it's horrifying and scares me to death. i fear this is the harvest of the ripe fruits grown by the seeds of wrong political systems, selective media and capitalism bad style of oppressing the rest of the world. (and: no, i'm not a communist!)
i fear, this won't be stopped by borders or harsh us-style conserative cctv regimes. and it makes me desperate i can't even think of anything that could help to improve the situation. this terrorism is the cancer of our society ... and i hope, i'm totally wrong about everything.
