WDR blogging from Mars
posted on 25. January 2004 at 10:15 AM
German public broadcaster WDR (radio and TV) maintains a weblog covering the various Mars missions. The weblog is powered by Radio Userland and ActiveRenderer. The Mars Mission blog is part of a series of astronomy weblogs. Other topics covered are Saturn and the space station ISS.
The only thing missing here, imho, is background information. Who is part of the team maintaining the site? How can they be contacted? Otherwise: well done!

Pictures, job titles and contact details for the whole WDR online team are available here. According to the RSS feed, Georg Berg is the managingEditor of the Mars blog.
Well, I guess I should have said: don't hide the contact details in the RSS feed ;-)
I am the editor of the Weblog. It is produced by the public broadcaster WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk). Our principal author is Dorothee Bürkle. She keeps contact to scientists who are based in our area (North-Rhine Westfalia, Germany). I am interested to know what information we should add to the rss feed.
