I had a nice weekend with two friends visiting from Spain. Now it's time to catch up with what is happening in blogland. I love lunch breaks.
Make sure to track the Wahlblog, because that is where most of the action is these days.
Some technical problems at hebig.com forced me to transfer the Wahlblog to a new (and much faster) server. Moving over all content from one MT system to the other worked smoothly. I expected to go through much more manual work. The most time was spent on creating and linking the template files on the fresh install. Too bad there is no faster way around that. Anyway, if you subscribe to the Wahlblog Newsfeed, update your subscription details. I don't think my .htaccess file takes care of that.
I wish there was a "clone this weblog"-functionality in MT. So often I want to set up a new weblog which is exactly like one of my other weblogs (with all its settings, templates, etc) and everytime I spend an hour copy-and-pasting everything from one blog to another... (It could probably be done directly in the database, but I guess I am not brave / geeky enough for these kinds of operations...)
One also has to note the new domain if one uses blo.gs or blogrolling.com to note changes, since pings are being made for the new domain, not the old.
Also, your link is to 'www.interferno.org', but the ping at blo.gs is for simply 'interferno.org'.
Scott, and omitting the www part is a problem? Please let me know.
