Prime time at its best

Lyssa told me to watch Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus! and so I did. TV entertainment couldn't be better. Now that Harald Schmidt is gone, Germany can switch from SAT1 to RTL for quality content. Fabulous.
RTL is using the same set as ITV and ABC in 2002/03. See for yourself:

As far as I can remember it wasn't that successful here, especially because nobody really cared about D-list celebs...
And reality TV is soooo 2003....

It seems that the "D-list" celebs chosen in Germany have a certain trash factor that appeals to the audience over here.
