Looks like 2003 was full of surprises, at least according to Google's Year-End Zeitgeist.
Germany: the #1 Popular Query is supposed to be... what?? Yu-gi-oh? I openly admit I have never in my life heard about that. Now #2 I am familiar with, however I am still surprised that a lousy singer is more popular than a honorable heiress.
