Waving good-bye?


The U.S. might cancel the Visa Waiver Program this fall if the countries under that program will not comply with new regulations demanding that biometrical data and digital fingerprints are to stored on passports alongside biographical data kept on the data page of machine readable passports already.
This comes only months after the U.S. government introduced the "machine readable passports only" rules. [See Anders' post for details]
