Germany and 9/11

The Agonist is quoting Reuters by stating that almost one in three Germans below the age of 30 believes the U.S. government may have sponsored the 9/ 11 attacks. While I am somewhat shocked by the outcome of this poll, I will just sit back in disbelief and wait to see Jeff Jarvis' reaction to this one.

BTW, the original Die Zeit article can be found here: Blackbox Weißes Haus. It also contains a bit of analysis with regard to conspiracy theories and paranoia.
...and if anybody wants to know, how this crazy stuff gets into people's mind, just look at this article in Telepolis today.
The author explains in great detail why the Bush-Family is responsible for all the evil in the world - from drug trafficking to terrorism. He doesn't mention bad weather and Microsoft explicitly, but I am pretty confident that Bush is behind that as well !!! ;-)
You can get such result pretty much everywhere. It just depends how you ask and how you select your representative group. Even in US you would find a major part of people mistrusting the administration on the 9/11 issue.
You shouldn't take it too serious.
